You go away and you know you are not coming back any time soon. All beginnings are exciting…and scary! You realize you are going to miss home but also you go with the hope that what awaits you is something better, and new, and even completely different to what you have experienced before.
At times, especially while the mood is not on your side and when the last cultural shock proved too much, you want to go back home. Returning to the “mothership”, to the comfort of your own language. However, when you are back, you notice that nothing there has changed, only you. You are a stranger in your own house.
